Charles William Brandenburg Obituary

Charles William Brandenburg, born on April 11, 1950, in Odessa, Texas, passed away at the age of 74 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleota Francis Brandenburg and William Hamilton Brandenburg.

Charles is survived by his sons, Derrick Brandenburg and his wife Emily, along with his beloved grandson, Philip, and Keith Brandenburg. He also leaves behind his sister, Connie Hiett, her husband Glen Hiett, and their daughters, Leanna Hiett and Kayla Hiett.

In 1971, Charles served his country in the U.S. Army as a light truck driver. An avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, he was known for his love of fishing and enjoyed a good game of cards. Charles was a long-time resident of Kellyville, but had moved to Tulsa to be closer to family. Charles had a gift for conversation and, despite his seemingly gruff exterior, quickly endeared himself to those he met.

Charles will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
