Obituary of Rodney Joe Parks

Please share a memory of Rodney to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Rodney Joe Parks entered eternal rest on July 19, 2024, after many years of health issues.

He was born at Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital on November 10, 1967, to Robert J. Parks and Jerry Ann Gleason Parks.

He spent his form active years running the streets with his buddy Steve causing mischief in Mountain Manor. He was a tried-and-true Westsider. His adult working years were mainly in the aircraft industry. The working years were cut short due to his health issues, but he was always sitting around scheming on how to make a few bucks. : )

He enjoyed watching Nascar races and especially loved watching driver Dale Earnhart.

Him and Cindy St. Clair were married in 1992, and had three beautiful daughters, Kali Jo, Kerri BethAnn and Katelin Avery. After they were grown, he was blessed with three grandsons, Abel, Jaxon and Brycen and a granddaughter Rylee Sue.

His daughters were his primary caregivers during his last illness. He lived with Kali and she, Abel, Jaxon, and Rylee did all they could to keep him comfortable. Abel, Jaxon, and Rylee were in charge of his remote control and cell phone, Katelin took care of his pets and took him back home often to visit them. Our family wants to thank his good friend Travis for all his help.

He is survived by his daughters and grandchildren, father and stepmother Robert and Sue Parks, brother Robert Dale and his wife Rhetta, nephews Robbie Parks, Joshua Parks and Christopher Parks, plus great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his good friend Starr.
