Obituary of Gene Fulbright

Ronald Gene Fulbright passed away at his home in Glenpool, OK. on August 7^th, 2024, at the age of 76.  He was born in Tulsa, Ok on January 5^th, 1948, to parents Jess and Ruby Fulbright.  Gene was a cherished member of our community, known for his unwavering dedication, warm humor, and generous spirit. 

Gene established himself as a respected businessman and owner of Fulbright Construction. His commitment to his work was matched only by his passion for helping others and his dedication to his family. Gene's integrity and craftsmanship left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of working with him.

A man of many interests, Gene was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. His weekends were often spent at the lake with friends, creating memories that will be cherished by all who joined him. Gene’s love for these activities was only rivalled by his devotion to his family and his community.

Gene proudly served in the Army, a testament to his selfless dedication and sense of duty. He was a wonderful husband to Martie for 53 years. His family was his greatest joy, and his legacy of love and commitment will continue through them.

Known for his great sense of humor and his ability to bring laughter into any room, Gene had a kind heart and a readiness to lend a helping hand. His presence was a gift to everyone who knew him, and his infectious enthusiasm and optimism made every moment spent with him a treasure.

Gene is survived by his children Amanda Fulbright and Tammy Roberts, his grandchildren Stone Fulbright and Jag Roberts, and a host of friends and extended family who will remember him with deep affection. He was preceded in death by his parents Jess and Ruby Fulbright and wife Martie Fulbright.

Gene Fulbright’s warmth, humor, and generosity will be deeply missed but fondly remembered. His legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
