My son was married to Cindy, they had a beautiful daughter, Brandi, Franklin, I loved them very much. I was fortunate to be around for part of Brandi's young life. There was a divorce, Cindy moved back to OK to help take care of her family, this put us miles apart but not our love for each other. I remember she was very friendly and intelligent, it's sad her life was taken so young. My prayer is for Cindy's family to love and cherish the time they have left with each other.. May GOD bless.
Love all of you. Syble (Grandma Franklin)

I remember the little girl, my very first niece, so cute, so curious, and oh so sweet. I liked using my nieces and nephews in or short, family, Christmas productions - Cindy made a great Mary, along with her brother, Raymond, and her cousins, H.T. and Gary, as Joseph and shepherds (sorry Nancy, Tammy, and Chris you had not yet arrived or were too little). Even at an early age she had the knack of caring for others. She continued this caring into adulthood. She took such good care of her Granny for which I am eternally grateful. I remember coming to Muskogee to visit Mom, who was living with Cindy at the time, and Cindy and I would get up early in the morning and have coffee and visit, still in our pajamas. I remember what a good cook she was, she could make the best Tortilla Soup. After Mom moved to an assisted living facility, I would still come to visit and stay with Cindy and we would still get up early and have coffee and visit. I was so proud of the woman she became, the teacher she became, who was proud of her students and excited at their achievements, and the kind, generous, and loving person that she was. She will truly be missed. Love you sweet girl. Aunt Joan

I grew up with the greatest big sister anyone could ask for. She was always willing to help me when she could. Both of my boys gained knowledge from her as a teacher and as a loving aunt. I know I will walk the golden road in heaven with her one day. Till then RIP sister.
