Cecil Edmond Livingston, Jr. known to all as "Edy" passed away from this earth to his heavenly home August 13, 2010 surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife Brenda, his mother Gib Livingston. Sons Nicholas Livingston, Tommy Livingston, and Joshua Tuttle and wife Beth. Daughter Mindy and husband Mike Kuster all of Sapulpa. Also, two daughters of the home Michelle Tuttle and Destiny Reynolds. Grandchildren Chase Livingston, Kaleb and Brooklyn Kuster, Kristen and Addison Tuttle and 1 great grandchild Triston Livingston all of Sapulpa. Special Aunt Terri Asher of Glenpool. Close cousins, Ray Allen and Dewey Enlow of Sapulpa, and Special Friend, Theodore Barnes. Many other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Cecil Livingston, Sr. and Aunt Pauline Enlow
Edy married the love of his life on May 15, 1998. Eight short months later he suffered a stroke that left him unable to communicate normally, but Edy didn't let this stop him from enjoying life. He and his family learned to laugh and cry at the words and expressions he used. At times he expected us to finish the story he was telling. Sometimes he would forget that the events or stories were before he became part of our lives making it difficult for us to tell the rest of the story. Right up until his death he talked with people about making things right with God. This is the definition of a good friend. He wanted to spend eternity with everyone.
As most of you know Edy's arms and hands were huge. He used this to his advantage many times grabbing us as we passed by and pulling us into his arms or lap and making us beg for mercy whenever he squeezed. We already miss these times.
Edy was a wonderful loving husband, father, son, friend and THE BEST GRANDPA. Although only a few grandchildren were listed he was grandpa to many more.
He enjoyed visiting with his may friends. Most will tell you that Edy visited them whenever they were sick even though he didn't feel well himself. But most of all he enjoyed his kids and grandchildren.
On Friday morning GOD took our wonderful friend home for eternity. Our hearts are saddened by your departure but we find peace in knowing you are no longer in pain and you can walk without assistance. Thanks for your love, friendship and support. We are looking forward to meeting you in heaven, until then rest and enjoy your reward.
