Obituary of Joyce Marie Reynolds

Joyce Marie Reynolds was born on January 18, 1943, in Vinita, Oklahoma and went to be with the Lord and Savior at the age of 81 on October 14, 2024. Joyce was born to Pearl Jessie Brashear. As a kid she lived in Jenks, OK, then Sapulpa, OK in her adult life. She was born a twin with her sister Joy, with 2 brothers Donald Brashear and Gerald Brashear.

In 1965, Joyce worked at Bartlett Glass where she met her future husband, Dean Reynolds. They married April 24, 1965, and built a long happy life of 59 years together raising 3 kids, Mike, Steve and Sandy. She loved her husband and kids and was a stay-at-home mother through the years. She truly enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens, cutting grass and keeping her yard manicured, and her cat Rooney who was with her these last 12 years.

Joyce is survived by husband Dean Reynolds, sons Steve Reynolds, Mike Reynolds and his wife Serena Reynolds, grandchildren Cheyanne Reynolds, Dustin Mendoza and wife Jacee Mendoza, Tanner Mendoza and wife Brittany, Luke Meacha, great grandchildren Caine, Cash, Cohlson, Starlie and Westin.

She was preceded in death by parents Pearl and Jessie Brashear, siblings Gerald Brashear, Donald Brashear and twin sister Joy, daughter Sandy Meacham, nephew Dylan Mendoza, and nieces Jackie and Janet.

Her passing will leave a huge hole in everyone’s hearts, and she will be deeply missed, but please remember she loved all of you as you loved her.
