Obituary of Gaylin Smiley

Gaylin Dewayne Smiles was born August 12, 1963 and passed from this earth on April 17, 2012. Gaylin Dewayne was born to Jeremy and Willine Smiles in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and had lived in Sapulpa most all his life. He attended elementary and high school in Sapulpa and graduated from Sapulpa High School in the Class of 1981 and was a member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Sapulpa. Dewayne was the 5th child out of 11children. He lived in Tulsa and worked at several jobs in the Tulsa area. He loved his brothers and sisters. Dewayne was preceded in death by his parents, Jeremy and Willine Smiles, his favorite aunt who helped raised him, Jiffy Logan, his uncle Thomas Logan, and his grandparents. Dewayne is survived by his six brothers, Randy, Kenneth, Nathan, Terry, Deon, and Tyrone; and his four sisters, Cynthia, Sharon, Norma, and Denise; sesveral brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, a host of nephews and nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles and many friends. He will be greatly missed but he will remain in our hearts forever.
