Q: How did you meet Ronald?
A: The day I met Ronnie was a couple days before me and my wife Shiloh got married. Wished I had a picture of that because that was the day I got to met or hear about all the Sawyer’s, and who better to tell it than him. He said that the Rattle Snake that was mounted in the old Pats was his dad Harold’s pet Rattle Snake he kept in his House !!!! Said Joe Sawyer wouldn’t even go inside. Hahaha. Ronnie was one of those guys that I couldn’t wait to hear what he had to say or had been doing… Always put a smile on my face… I will definitely miss him ….

Where to even begin.....We've been on so many adventures, traveled thousands of miles, laughed until we cried, cried until we laughed.
From getting lost on gravel roads on the bike and taking hours to find the next paved road. Getting shot at for exploring private property "just say we didn't see the no trespassing sign". You saying "say it again, I love the way you say it" when in all actuality I know you were just making fun of me. Saying "look it up" after every lengthy story just to prove you were right. From our antique shopping to find the best "treasure" and you schooling me on what every trinket/gadget is and where it came from. Sitting in your truck, singing to the top of our lungs for hours on end till we had no voice the next day. Dancing so many songs we spent the next morning doing foot bath soaks.
Way too many memories to list but I'm beyond thankful for every one of them so for now I'll just say "love your guts ronald harold" and your always response would be "but what about my face"

All my stories start with Ronnie, John, and myself we went to okc one time on a Friday night to go to a swap meet on Saturday so we stayed Downtown Okc at a fancy hotel got in cleaned up and hit the town. We went and ate dinner and come out and had a little to drink but there was a guy on a bicycle with a carriage on the back all 3 of us jumped in it and said take us to whatever the bar was called the guy took off and hit a car mirror and ripped it off and Ronnie said you take us anywhere we want to go we won’t say a word. RIP Ronnie you will be missed! I have a so many more good memories and stories with Ronnie but not not appropriate for here. Photos of us this are posted here as well.

Our Deepest Condolences To The Family.
Such a fun guy to be around! Always willing to lend a hand, from helping put out the fire on my car (pictured), to beating on it with a hammer. He'd say, we might need a bigger hammer.

For My Uncle Ronnie
You rode through life with the wind at your back,
A Harley’s hum, the open road, your track.
You loved your kids with a boundless grace,
And brought light to friends with a warm embrace.
In every laugh, in every mile,
You’d lift a heart, you’d spark a smile.
But some roads are dark, too heavy to bear,
A journey hidden, beyond our care.
We couldn't see the weight you wore,
The silent ache, the unseen war.
Yet in every sunset, and in every ride,
I’ll carry your memory, there by my side.
For though you left us on that somber day,
Your spirit’s here, it’s here to stay.
Ride free, dear Ronnie, with skies clear and wide,
With love in our hearts, forever your guide.

We'll never forget the "Mayor". We owned a building in downtown Sapulpa; he was our neighbor. During the annual car shows he would come over & put out orange cones so we wouldn't lose our parking spot. Then offer us adult beverages & burgers! He was such a happy go-lucky guy! He would always tell me if the guys got rowdy just call the Mayor & he'd straighten them out!
RIP Ronnie!

He was a family friend...we all had hot rods and went car shows. I remember all the guys sitting around my father in laws garage and talking all the crap and laughing. Good ol days!! Thanks Ronnie for the baseball memories and being there for the boys. Those were some fun days i will always cherish.
