Mary Lou (Walls) Cooper was born August 22nd, 1930, in Estella, Oklahoma to J.W. and Bessie Walls. She passed away November 12th, 2024, at the age of 94. Mary Lou married Marvin Cooper on September 8th, 1946. They had known each other most of their lives, they were married 72 years at the time of Marvin’s death.

Mary Lou was a homemaker most of her life, she briefly worked and later managed the Owasso high school snack bar.

Mary Lou loved reading, fishing, and playing with her grandkids, but most of all loved the Lord.

Mary Lou is survived by her daughters, Janet French and husband John, Linda Pennington and husband Bill, Anita Coleman and husband Ben, son-in-law Bud Pruitt, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin (Bussey) Cooper, daughter, Judy Pruitt, grandson, Randy Pruitt, granddaughter Cameron Lane, parents, J.W. and Bessie Walls, five brothers, Ralph Walls, Keith Walls, Lee Walls, Charles (Jiggs) Walls,  and Elbert (Short) Walls, sisters, Allie Mae McGlasson, and Thelma Jent.
