Carl Wayne Southerland, 87, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on December 27, 2024. He was born on December 9, 1937 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Clint Monroe and Jessie Beatrice Southerland.

Carl worked as a machinist and an auto mechanic. He loved the Lord very much. His hobbies were playing guitar in church, going to yard sales looking for old clocks and watches, and building bird houses. He loved eagles.

Carl is survived by his wife Dorothy Southerland; and two daughters, Brenda Conkling and son-in-law Alan; and Pamela Newell and son-in-law Darryl; four grandchildren, Bridget Southerland, Kendall Newell, Anthony Hurst, and Stephanie Killingsworth. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, Sienna, Adelyn and Jaxson Ryker, Asher and Kaitlyn Smith, and Dalton Forrester; Ryan and Rylee Hurst; one great, great-grandchild on the way; as well as lots of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Carl was the last survivor of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by parents, Client and Jessie Southerland; twin brother Billie Southerland; and two sisters, Mary Ellen Patterson and Elizabeth Fish; and daughter Tracy Lynn Southerland.

Funeral Service at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel - Sapulpa 400 E. Teel Road, Sapulpa at 2:00 pm Thursday, January 2nd.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec 31 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Green Hill Funeral Home - Sapulpa 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa
