Obituary of Marsha Earlene Keylon

Please share a memory of Marsha to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Marsha “Earlene” Keylon, known by her family as “Cissy” was born on February 4, 1959, to Gordon Earl Keylon and Betty Jean (Slape) Keylon, and departed from this world on January 21, 2025, at the age of 65. She spent her entire life in Kiefer, graduating from Kiefer High in 1977. She stayed there until her passing.

Earlene was known for her wonderful crafts. She owned a ceramic shop for many years where she made and painted beautiful things. She was always sewing and making people things, making DIY home renovations and coming up with the best ideas; you name it, she could do it. She had a passion for music and Kansas City Chiefs Football!!!

She worked for Jenks Public Schools for 28 years on the custodial staff and finished her career at Sapulpa Public Schools, retiring in recent years. She enjoyed her time there and made many friends along the way.

Earlene also took great pride in taking care of everyone and being a “mother” to many. She babysat, took care of her family, nephews and her great nieces and nephews until her health prevented her from doing so. There was a glow on her face as she was always bragging about the kiddos.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, brother Earl Ray Keylon, sister Vickie Lynne Keylon and one nephew Nathan Alan Jack.

Earlene is survived by her nephew Michael Jack of Bristow, great nieces Mariah and Maddie Matson, great nephew Izaiah and Carson Matson all of Beggs, Brysen and Carter Jack of Norman, many cousins and her favorite cat Zoey.
