I used to live next door to her Aunt and Uncle in Bellmore, NY. Linda, her sister Barbara and brother Tommy would come visit over the summer. We would catch lightening bugs, have jump rope contests and play in her Aunt Martha’s treasure box. My last memory of Linda is going to Jones Beach when we were 18. She was wonderful and had a fantastic laugh and big heart! We both named our daughters, Amanda! My sincere condolences to her family and friends. Patricia Ambrecht

I worked with Linda many, many year ago at Pergement wallpaper dept in Westbury Long Island. We had the best, best time.
We were always hanging out together. Me, my son my brother and sister and most of all little Lisa who she tried so hard to adopt. She lived with her Aunt and Uncle in Bellmore. Poor girl use to have to go get her uncle cases of listerine. He wanted the alcohol content., it was hysterical. The year I believe was 1984 or 1985. We had a ball! Good times and sad times. She was definitely going through some hard times. I was trying to find her to reconnect and unfortunately I found her obituary. Rest In Peace my dear friend. Jeanne Lenze Birmingham.

Tommy and Amanda. I am so sorry to learn about the passing of my childhood friend, Linda. I pray that she didn't suffer. Linda, Colleen and I were the closest of friends during our childhood and early twenties. We had many good memories together. Teenage dances at St.Brigid's, working in Bohack supermarket, summers at Rockaway Beach, her nickname Little Latin Loopy, which she hated. I am so grateful that I was able to see Linda again several years ago, after having lost touch for so many years. It was a beautiful reunion on Long Island with Tommy and his lovely wife, and Linda with her beautiful daughter, Amanda. Again, my deepest sympathy to you all. Theresa

Linda, her daughter Amanda, My wife Marilyn, my favorite cousin Jeanne and I all spent the day together driving all around Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island visiting all of our childhood locations. It was a trip that brought my sister and I back to our roots and many memories. I will really miss my sis.
