Obituary of Bruce Palmer

Bruce Carlton Palmer Jr., Born September 2, 1943 in Oklahoma City, OK, passed into the arms of his Lord, September 24, 2010, at the age of 66. He was the son of Goldie Frances Walton Hitchcock and Bruce Palmer, Sr., stepson of Grant D Hitchcock and beloved brother of Wanda Rolf, of Newberry Park, CA; Linda Andersen of Fennville, MI; Sandra Morrison of Tulsa, OK; and also brother's in-law, Roy Andersen and Matthew Morrison. Bruce also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. All were loved and important to him. Bruce was born in Oklahoma City, OK and raised in Montague, MI. He spent several years in California and settled in Tulsa where he resided until the end of his life. Although his passion from a very early age was auto racing, he finally settled for watching the races on TV every weekend. He bought and sold used cars and was also a self employed auto detailer until he became too ill to work. He lived in his well loved home until he went to be with his Lord. Farewell Bruce, we love you and we will miss you.
