Obituary of SHIRLEY BOLEN

Shirley Faye Ledbetter-Bolen went to be with Our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 16, 2010. She was born on February 1, 1930 in West Plains, Missouri to James A. and Ruby O. Ledbetter. She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Charles "Charlie" Bolen, Brothers - Earl, David, Vernice, Eldon, Lloyd, and infant brother Tommy. Sisters - Ona and Lois. She is survived by one brother, Floyd of West Plains, Missouri. Three children - Charles, Jr., Cecil and Kelley, all of Sapulpa, OK. She leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Shirley was a caretaker by trade. Nurturing just came naturally to her. She lived and loved for her family. She was loved by all who knew her and treasured by those closest to her. She was the center that we all revolved around. She always had a twinkle in her eye and loved to laugh. She enriched our lives in ways that we never knew possible until now. She was a child of God, giving him praise each day. We must now put our faith and strength into our Lord to give us hope that we will see our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend again soon. We love you very much.
