I met Chris when he was assigned to be a carpenter foreman on the first project I was assigned. It was the early eighties, I had very little craftmanship ability and was very green out of college so Chris proceded to teach me the means and methods of commercial construction. He taught me how each craft should work and their sequence and most importantly he taught me that not everything in construction is perfect so you have to learn a few tricks to "sell a building". Over 17 years Chris and I worked on hundreds of successful projects and even spent some time away from home which I know Chris was not in favor of but as always he did what was needed. Though work introduced us, Chris was a friend and I cannot thank him enough for the help he provided me early in my career. My sincere prayers are with him and his family.
