Margaret was born February 12, 1938 in LeFlore, OK, to Charles S. and Irene (Wagner) Kitchens. She passed away February 28, 2011 at the age of 73 at home after a 20 year battle with cancer. She graduated from Poteau High School in Poteau, OK in 1956, and married Darrell W. Borin on June 9, 1956. After they married, they moved to Tulsa, and then to the community of Berryhill, located in South West Tulsa, in 1961. She was employed at Red Fork Cleaners as a Counter Clerk, but due to the effects of the cancer, she had to retire by disability. Margaret and Darrell where both huge OU Sooner fans, and watched every football game on television. They also liked camping and fishing, especially at Sardis Lake in Clayton, OK with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell W, Borin, parents Charles and Irene Kitchens from Poteau, OK, and sister Meredith Kitchens from Jenks, OK. Survived by: Daughters: Donna L. Borin of the home, Sharon K. Salas and her husband, Jesse of Glenpool, OK; Grandchildren: Crisha Litterell and husband, Mike (who is deployed to Afghanistan) of Clarksville, TN., Matthew Cochran and wife, Sara of Broken Arrow, OK., Wesley Stepp of Holdenville, OK., Jayson Stepp of Tulsa, OK, Jesse Salas of Norman, OK, who attends the University of Oklahoma; Great Grandchildren: Alistair Litterell, Hadyn Cochran, Wesley Stepp, Jonas Finley, Andrew Cooper Stepp, and Hunter Stepp. She is also survived by several brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, aunts, an uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends and neighbors.
