Brenda Lawson Holmes, of Sapulpa, was born on June 27, 1965 and passed away at the age of 46 on May 8, 2012 in Sapulpa. She was a homemaker most of her life. Brenda was preceded in death by her dad, Roy H. Lawson; brother, Roy "Bud" Lawson; grandparents, Bill and Grace Goodman, Roy P. and Nannie Lawson; brother-in-law, Larry York; and nephew, Michael York. Brenda is survived by her daughters Bridget Glasby and husband Greg, Erica Scott and fiancé Steve Blackburn, Lindsey Scott, and Brooke Mondier and fiancé Stephen Butler; Brenda's fiancé Dale Holmes; two step-sons, Shane and Spencer Holmes; grandkids, Bryson, Zarek, Brianna, Lexy, Raelynn, Cali, and Hayden; mother, Doris Lawson; sister, Connie York; one nephew; five nieces; and numerous other family members and friends. She loved football especially the Oklahoma Sooners, NASCAR, and sushi. She also loved spending time with her daughters and grandkids. She played basketball, softball, and was very outgoing. Brenda loved her grandkids more than anything. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at Glenwood Assembly of God. She is loved and will be missed by all.
