Obituary of BILLIE PALMER

Billie passed away March 15, 2011. She was 70 years old. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elbie Shockley; father, Bill Shockley and sister, Marie Reagle. Billie was a resident at the Glenpool Nursing Center in Glenpool, Oklahoma where she went home to her Lord. She was born September 26, 1940 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of William Carroll Shockley and Mary Ann Elbie (Long) Shockley. She is a graduate of Central High School. Billie married Jerry Allen Palmer on October 23, 1965 for ten years. They have two children, William Allen Palmer and Tammy Annette Brewer. Her interests were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, playing guitar, singing and going to church. Billie is survived by her two children; son Allen Palmer and wife, Lanaya of Sapulpa and daughter Tammy Brewer and husband, Aaron of Mounds; four grandchildren, Natasha Haggard of Sapulpa, William Palmer Jr. of Sapulpa, Caleb Palmer of Sapulpa, and Tera Brewer of Glenpool; five great grandchildren, Skyler Palmer, Zane Haggard, Naya Haggard, Gabrielle Young, and Conner Palmer; siblings; Bonnie Lambert of Tulsa, Carolyn Tyrrell of Tulsa, Shirley Daniels of Tulsa, Jean Brown of Sapulpa, Don Shockley of Seminole, Betty Allen of Claremore and Larry Shockley of Tulsa.
