In obedience to God's divine will, brother Paul Wayne Jackson, beloved father, and grandfather departed this life Saturday, March 19, 2011 at O.U. Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Both parents, Paul Wesley Jackson and Almeta Jackson-Goodwin along with two brothers Audrey and Cecil "Rickey" Jackson preceded him in death. He leaves to rejoice his homegoing two daughters Andrea Nicole, Italy and one granddaughter Roneysha. He is also survived by his Uncle Donnel Robinson Sr. (Wilma Jean), Aunts Rosa Jernigan and Ola Mae (Jessie) Shaw all of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
During his life Paul Wayne enjoyed the love of a very large family which also include surviving Aunts Hattie Dean, Margaret J. Love, Doris (Julius) McNair, Elizabeth Barens and Charlesetta McClough all of Lawton, Oklahoma, one Uncle Charles (Dorothy) Goff of Kansas City, Missouri, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a large host of other relatives, extended family, friends and associates.
As a young man Paul Wayne (a.k.a. Boogaloo) attended Booker T. Washington High School in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Following high school he enlisted in the military to serve our country in Vietnam and was honorably discharged. Paul was a tall man, broad in stature but best known for his infectious smile and great sense of humor. He was a joy to be around and had an unlimited supply of jokes and one-liners for all those in his presence. He could always light up a room with his vitality. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. He will be most remembered for his love of fishing, cooking and as a former active member of the Gambler Motorcycle organization.
Being the good natured soul that he was you could always count on Paul Wayne to be the most loyal friend even in the darkest of times. He could tell you a joke or make a funny comment about something which somehow managed to make you feel better about things. He was a very giving, caring, and loving person with a big heart, he would give his last to help those in need. We will all miss his strength, courage, and most of all his energy. May the good Lord now give him joy and peace in great abundance.
