Obituary of ORVILLE KING
Orville Buck King was born August 2, 1934 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Bishop William Frank and Agnes King. He passed away on April 15, 2011 at age 76.
At age 18, he chose a career as a brick mason which he pursued until his retirement. He was a guitar picker with a love for music and a heart for those all around him. He took several trips and became an avid rock collector. He could tell you exactly where he got each one and what minerals were in it. He also had an amazing talent for gardening and he loved roses.
He leaves to cherish his homegoing: daughter, Connie Mcnew and husband, Eugene of Kellyville, son, Richard King and wife, Janie of Okemah, son, Mike King and wife, Andi of Sand Springs, son, Darrell King and wife, Lora of Tulsa and Frank King Kellyville. Twelve grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, sister, Faye Lister and spouse Dempsey of Sapulpa, sister, Ruth King and Don Wright of Kiefer, brother, Jack King and wife, Thea of Bristow and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
