Obituary of CHARLES ADAIR

Charles Edward Adair, Sr. born 9-10-1925 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and passed away 5-8-2011 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Predeceased by his mother and father, James F. and Luvenia Adair; four brother, John, Isaac, Wesley and James Adair; two sisters, Virginia Bradshaw and Mary Eschliman. Charles is survived by his wife, Norma Jean (Wallace) Adair, three children, Charles E. Adair, Jr., Babara McCoy, and Deby Hanohano, four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, sister, Louise Hood and numerous nieces and nephews. Charles attended Wilson School in Wilson, Oklahoma and also attended school in Salisaw, Oklahoma. He served his country in the US Coast Guard during World War II. and was honorably discharged in 1944. Charles retired from US Steel in Pittsburg, California after 32 years where he was a sales clerk and forklift driver. He faithfully attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Antioch, California. He loved sports and fishing. he was involved with the youth. Donations can be made in honor of Charles to Northside nursing Home Activities Departmant at POBox 1110, Sapulpa, Ok 74066
