Mary Munro Parker, age 56, died Thursday, July 14, 2011 at her residence in Sapulpa.
Mary Parker was born on November 10th, 1954 in Cooperstown, NY to William B. Parker and Mary Chanda Parker. She was a registered professional engineer employed as construction manager by Mehlburger-Brawley, Tulsa and McAlester, and held a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
Mary loved to sing, and play guitar and piano. She will be missed dearly by many friends and family.
Mary is survived by her son, US Army Sgt. Jesse Bill Parker, currently serving in Afghanistan, sisters, Joan Mast, Trafalgar, IN and Chanda Martin, The Villages, FL, niece, Dr. Apple Rice (Mrs. Andrew Rice and family) Oklahoma City, and Peggy Makinson.
A memorial service will be held be Saturday, July 23rd at the Elk's Lodge in Sapulpa, 24 S. Poplar Street. The service will begin at 2pm. The family has chosen to entrust the care of the service to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home. 9182242312 www.greenhillok.com
