Obituary of GENE EARHART

After attending school in Sand Springs, Gene joined the U.S. Navy and served proudly for four years. Gene was a Member of Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church in Jenks. Gene was preceded in death by his parents Haden and Verna Earhart and a grandson, Matthew Earhart. He is survived by his wife Betty of the home, his sister Martha Patterson of Texas, 7 children, 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; Son - Terry, his wife Waynette and their children Adam, Michelle, Jessica and Sarah. Son - Thomas and his children Margie, Scott and Holly. Son - Joe, his wife Becky and their daughter Lisha. Daughter - Pam and her children Kenneth and Austin. Daughter - Angie, her husband David and their children Jordan and Braden. Daughter - Karen, her husband Keith and their children Kevin and Kyle and Kyle's wife Alysha. Daughter - Lisa, her husband Thomas and their children Callie, David and John. Great Grandchildren - Bently and Tatum. Gene loved to watch sports on TV and in person. He was an avid O.U. fan! Gene had a host of family and friends who loved him dearly and who will miss him greatly. Casket Bearers will be David Ashlock, Terry Earhart, Keith Adams, Tommy Earhart, Thomas Aguilar, and Joe Earhart. Honorary Bearers will include Jordan Ashlock, Austin McMahan, Braden Ashlock, Kenneth McMahan, Adam Earhart, Kevin Adams, Kyle Adams,David Aguilar, and John Aguilar. Visitation for Gene will be Friday From 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Funeral services for Gene have been set for 10:00 am Saturday, June 16, 2012 in the Green Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doug Carey officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by the V.F. W. District 5 Rifle Squad. Interment will follow in the Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
