Dominoes in Heaven
It is time for me to say goodbye
No more tears, no more pain, and no more fear
I walk now without a care
Jesus met me at His pearly gates
I looked in amazement as His kingdom awaits
Many friends went through my mind
Starla, Brenda, Dorothy, and Mary Ann…. just to name a few
I knew one day we'd be together and their trials would end too
I had many questions as I entered in….
The one that stood out was "Jesus, will I ever play dominoes again?"
Even Jesus has a sense of humor and laughed as he led me to a table
Sitting right there was the game set up and ready
Jesus took my hand and said, “My child, take a look around!”
There was so much beauty and happiness and no sadness I ever found
I found some of my loved ones and “Oh, what a happy day!”
I am not sad here and I am certainly not alone
Although you cannot hear me or call me on the phone
I will always still be with you and our game is set to play
For when your time draws near and I hear Him call your name
