My fondest memory of Bea...there were many. She was the best, friendliest, most concienscious Home Interior Lady ever. My parties with her were all fond memories. But most of all, she was my friend. I do remember that my family and I had gone to a function at Sapulpa High School. I was looking around and spotted Bea with Beth and an elderly gentleman along the outside isle. We waved at each other. I remember thinking, "That woman is Superwoman." How she had managed to get two wheelchairs in there...only a Superwoman could manage. I saw how, when the show was over. She was pushing one while pullig the other. I asked if I could help and she blessed my heart and allowed me to help with Beth. A funny thing happened, while I was bent over in the hatchback putting Beth's chair in, I was suddenly conked in the head with the hatchback. Lol. She apologised over and over. She was almost in tears. There was NO WAY I was telling that beautiful soul just how badly it DID hurt. Instead, I told her I was fine. It didn't really hurt. I couldn't make her actually cry. She was a true blessing to know. Always seeming so energetic, but, sometimes, I'd see her blow out a thankful breath when something was finished. I have missed her very much all these years.

The other night as all of us were drawing up mommas obituary so many Good memories came up. Before we were almost done she had us from hurting to laughing!!!!
Mom and I were sitting on the back porch and she told me that she had made a apple pie ( home made always from scratch with fresh apples) and she told me just how good it looked and smelled . She than told me that Cleon made her so mad because he had mowed over something in the yard that he would not admit to that. (Than with a smile on her face) she told me that she feed that apple pie to the chickens. She than looked at me and said, That was a lot of money and work for the chickens.
Almost 31 years ago momma started selling home interior that she loved doing for almost 20 years and I want to say thank you to Jimmie cooper for letting her come into you home for her first show,

Our fondest memory is having mom and Cleon out for steak at the Steak House 2 yr ago. She loved steak and really enjoyed it. We laugh and had a great time with mom. We will surely miss her and wished we lived close. She was sweet and kind and loved all her family. Last time We were in in June 2015 we had gone to church with her and she loved every minute of it. She also loved her strawberry and biscuits which were always yummy. She made me beans ad cornbread also. Gathering in the house listening to music and talking just having a great time. We will see you again mom, I know you are with the lord. love, You always, Bob and Linda

I have known Bea for 35 years. I loved her from the moment I met her. She was generous to a fault. I learned early on to be careful how you admired her things. If you said you loved something she had she would say it yours. If you argued with her she would tried to get you to take it. If you refused to take it she would then turn around and sneak it into your things without you knowing it. You would get home and there it would be. I have so many more good memories that it would take up to much space. I love you Bea. I know you are in heaven looking down and watching over us.

I remember Granny Bea as always being kind and beautiful, never missed a chance to give me a hug! We would talk about music, God and family in every conversation. I was always excited to see her and talk with her. Granny Bea made the most beautiful Bumble Bee baby blanket for my son Cole. Grandma will always be in our hearts and thoughts!

Over the past months, Mom had good and bad days. One particular good day about a week ago, she decided to leave a note on the front door informing the Hospice nurses who were due to visit, that she was "chilling in the pool" in the back yard. Imagine the surprise of the hospice nurses, as most days she had trouble dressing without assistance, and getting around inside the house was an effort (we could hear her shuffling herself to the kitchen, bathroom and around the house). She was determined to put on her swimsuit, walk through the house, across the deck, up the stairs to the pool deck, and down the stairs into the pool. Mom told us that she could barely keep her head above water so she made sure she held on to a floatie. She was so proud that she was able to walk around the pool and "help us get the leaves out". It didn't take long until I received a call from the hospice nurse, Scott, who said, "You are NOT going to believe this!" After the initial shock of the news wore off, somehow, we weren't really all that surprised, as Mom has always been a free spirit!
