I cannot explain the immense amount of pain I feel. It's been a year since I last saw you Grandma and there is still nothing that can replace that void within me. I constantly find myself wanting to go over to your house and have one of our lunches, play cards and just talk like we did for so many years. You fought for so long and were a soldier of your own words. I will miss you forever and although the pain has set in here I know you are happy to be with Grandpa again. Probably watching a western and cooking up a storm. Love you

I had the pleasure to get to know Emma when I asked for and the master gardeners help in 2008 at Camp Okiwanee. She was instrumental in getting a group to help me here at the camp. I was able to obtain tree's in 2009 and Emma was willing to pull a group to help me in starting an arbor on camp. The project still continues with having planted over 300 tree's with over 70 different species.

I so loved this sweet, sweet lady. Her love for Christ, her family and her church was such an inspiration for me. Loved being with her and her precious family at Wednesday night fellowship when we were meeting at homes. I pray for God's Perfect Peace to surround you all right now. We all know she is so happy right now, when she heard Jesus say Enter in my Good and Faithful Servant Enter In, we know she rejoiced and is having such a party right now with her husband. I am jealous. She is whole again. But I know it's still sad for her family and all of us that loved her. But we know we will see her someday real soon.
