I remember Brother and Sister Parnell coming by our house on their travels through to different places preaching the Gospel. They always brought such love and grace with them. Sister Edna's smile and ability to impart peace will always stay with me as a reminder of what a true Christian woman should be. I will see her one day. I am sure she will be right where my grandmother is...at the feet of Jesus. Until then...

Brother and Sister Parnell were true, selfless ministers of the gospel. Only eternity will reveal the eternal fruits of their labor in the United States, Central America, and around the world. They were dear friends of my parents, Rev. Raymond and Vivian Lasseter, and a special blessing to the congregation of the Bowman Pentecostal Church in Blue Eye, Missouri. My trip to Belize with them was life changing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and all those who loved Miss Edna dearly. "Thank you, for giving to the Lord. I am a life that was changed."

I loved Edna Parnell as if she were my own Grandmother. I can see her beautiful smile as she walked up to Jesus and D.L. and I'll be happy to see her again in Heaven!!
