Obituary of Mary Edna Parnell

Mary “Edna” Parnell, 88, of Sapulpa, OK died Monday, October 12, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Paducah. Mrs. Parnell and her late husband, D.L. Parnell were missionaries in Belize, Central America for over 40 years and served as pastor in the early 1960’s at Pentecostal Tabernacle in Water Valley, KY. She is survived by one son, Joe Parnell of Sapulpa, OK; one daughter, Glenda Whetstone of Paducah, KY; twelve grandchildren; and several great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sons, Jerry Parnell, Sammy Parnell, Jimmy Parnell and David Parnell; and one brother. Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:00AM at Green Hill Funeral Home in Sapulpa, OK with Rev. Roger Whetstone officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 16, 2015 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at Green Hill Funeral Home. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
