My deepest & sincerest condolences for your loss.
I've known Bill for 21 years. He was the area guru on the equipment I was just starting to learn how to keep running. I would call him at all hours to beg, borrow or steal his knowledge or supply of parts. Or ask him to swing by to help me out with a problem. He answered every call and showed up every time I needed him.
Over time, we became colleagues in the same field and would call each other to borrow parts, ask about a procedure or just to catch up.
He was a good friend and will be truly missed.
