Obituary of William Lusk Mull, Jr.

William “Bill” Lusk Mull, Jr., 62, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma died of cancer at home with his sons and their families on October 31, 2015. On October 4, 1953, William Lusk Mull, Jr. was born to parents Mary Nadine Wilbourn and William Lusk Mull in Los Angeles, California. Bill moved around during his youth and lived with his Uncle Chuck and Aunt Amy for years. He settled in Henryetta where he met Pamela Powders and fell in love with his “lil’ Red.” They married July 13, 1971, had their first son Brandon July 1972 and their second son Jason March 1978. He lost his lil’ Red October 2, 2010 and never really recovered from that loss. Bill’s passions in life were family, fast cars and playing pool. All of which he loved dearly. He was known as the best maintenance man in Tulsa, able to fix anything. Bill was a very strong, very tough man. Bill was preceded in death by his mother, father, surrogate parents Amy, Chuck and Bob, wife Pam, sister Billie Sue Smith, infant brother Larry Mull and many in-laws. He is survived by son Brandon, his wife Brooke and their children Skylar, Saxton, and Kieran; son Jason and his son Gage; surrogate daughter Christie Lyles and her children Ashley, Elizabeth and Chase; siblings James Erhard and 4 children; Carolyn and Gilbert Reynoso and 3 children; Gail and Michael Connor and 3 children; Michael and Georgia Mull and 7 children; Dwight and Diane Erhard and 5 children; Brenda and John Alent and 5 children; Genon Erhard and 3 children; adopted brother Monte and wife Melissa Erhard; brother-in-law Jim and wife Lynn Powders and 3 children; sister-in-law Sue Sallee and 3 children; as well as many, many great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Friday, November 6, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Henryetta. Visitation at the funeral home will be Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am until 8 pm.
