I've come to realize through many losses that in death there is a gate that each must travel through alone. It wasn't meant for us to follow through. We have unfinished business right here. But, we can send our love through that gate with them, and be a living testament to their memory. I picture past that gate a beautiful meadow with a peaceful flowing brook, a soft warm gentle breeze blowing through the trees, making the grass and flowers sway, where the butterflies and birds glide merrily in flight. Oh what a beautiful place to be. May the Lord be with each and everyone in your time of loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
