Lisa and Randy, Today is February 08, 2023, I am so very sorry to just now learn about your mother's passing. Lisa, years ago when we attended Lone Star Elementary, you invited me for a sleepover at your home. I remember how kind your mother was to me. She had prepared a delicious meal of fried shrimp. I had never eaten shrimp before, but it smelled so good that after about my second bite, I just popped the remainder into my mouth, tail and all. Just when I was about to swallow, your mother panicked and said, "Oh no! You're not supposed to eat the tail! No wonder it was so crunchy. ;) Your sweet mother was so afraid that I was going to choke, but she didn't make a big deal out of it and she left me with what little dignity I had left to finish the meal. She was so kind and gracious, and I will never forget her warm smile. Lisa it's been a lifetime ago when we were only about 10 or 11 years old... 5th, 6th, and part of 7th grade Mrs. Young's class and Mr. Young's class, but you were my best friend and I still remember how you were the best player on our basketball team. After reading your mother's obituary, now I see where you AND Randy inherited your basketball talent. While I'm about 5 1/2 years late, I want to offer my deepest condolences to you and your family. Larry - I just heard yesterday that you lost your dear Peggy. I am saddened by this news and hope that you and your family are doing as well as you can in the circumstances. I know this has been a most difficult time for you, but life goes on, and I know your faith, family and friends will help carry you through all this in this most difficult time of your life.
