I picked up Rosie on a Saturday morning, had my 1957 chevy pickup loaded with a ice chest full of food and drinks, a charcol cooker, lawn chairs and other swimming hole things. We went to Blue Hole on Sleen Creek, east of Slina Oklahoma. we played in the cold spring water all day and grilled hamburgers for lunch. I saved the charcol incase we wanted to stop someware on the long trip back to Kiefer for another burger.
On the trip home the wend in the back of the truck got the coals going again and caught the canvas tarp that I brought to sit on, on fire and by the time we saw the fire, it was taller than the back window on the truck. we pulled over on the side of the high way and beat the fire with a towel, a man stoped with a cooler of water and threw that on the fire and between him and us, we got the fire out. It was a little more excitment than we were looking for.

As a daily delivery person for UPS I Delivering daily at Rosie's place of employment I got to know her fairly well over the last few years. She was always warm and caring and friendly and when she found out that our youngest daughter has pet bunnies she was always asking about them and loved to hear funny stories about oreo and the marshmaister. Rosie, you will be missed and I will always remember you as the bunny lady.

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of Rosie! I know her and Dorris from both the bank and Country Mart. She was always a smile on her face and a kind word to say. I pray the family finds comfort in this terrible time.

I'm just one of many people who loved Rosie and who was touched by her life. I remember meeting her for the first time and thinking she was a little different. She was the kind of different we all should be! Full of love and laughter, not an ounce of pride or pretension. She turned life's pain and heartbreak into humor and loved to make people laugh along with her. There was not a single animal that she didn't love, especially her cats. And she had such a gift with them. She could even turn a feral cat tame. She was more than my friend, she was part of my family and no one can ever take her place. I can't wait to laugh with her again!!!

Rosie and I started out in Kindergarden when Kiefer's kindergarden was in a little house up the road from my house. Rosie,Beth,me and Dickey were as close as you could get back then in that little town of Kiefer, everybody is family in a small town. She always walked home with me after a basketball game and we even had our special names for each other. We reversed them and she was "Eisor and was Alert". She was and will always be in my heart. I love you Rosemarie Edelman!

Rosie will always hold a special place in my heart. I have many fond memories of our school days and dating. She was the kind of friend to lift you up every time she spoke to you. I will never forget her.

I remember my first day of second grade, Rosie became my best friend, and we remained friends all of this time. we would make flower necklaces from clover flowers on the playground. Her laughter could make anyone happy, she was able to laugh about things through all the bad things around her. I will miss her so much. I love you my best friend forever.

Rosie was one of the nicest sweetest person I have every met. We had so much fun together in school. IF you look in the Kiefer Annual 1979, you will see me and her and Dickey in alot of the pics, WE were being sneaky. I am glad that the good Lord graced me with knowing her. She had a soft soul. Every time I ran into Rosie, she always had her mom with her. She cared and loved her mom deeply. Rosie and I always spoke of the friends we have lost. She still missed Beth and always brought her up. I will miss her beautiful smiling face.
