Obituary of JAMES CALVERT

James Edwin Calvert was born on February 24, 1948 and left this world for the next on December 27, 2011. In the 63 years he had on this earth he was many things: A son to James and Dorothy Calvert; a brother to Mary Louise, David Lee and Tina Marie; a husband in his young life to Dianna and then later in life to Anna; a father to Mark Edwin and Dianna Machelle; a stepfather to Mark and Larry Bollenbach and a grandpa to Ashley, Samantha, Landon and Gabriel. He was a friend to many and many more affectionately called him "Cuz". He was a cousin, an uncle, a nephew and a brother-in-law. He was as an engineer on the BNSF Railroad for 35 years. During those years he trained many a "pup" as he called them. He met many people who influenced his life greatly and in turn he greatly influenced others. What brought him the greatest joy was the outdoors. "Cuz" loved to be on the lake fishing or out in the woods hunting deer. Even the birds and squirrels outside his patio window garnered his attention. Sometimes to the squirrels dismay, when he got out his BB gun. Jim loved life. He loved to laugh and spent many an evening in the garage with close friends and family, celebrating life. He will be sorely missed. We will grieve his loss as having come too soon. But many will welcome him Home. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James Alford Calvert and Dorothy Louise Farrand Calvert; his two sisters, Mary Calvert and Tina Ray; his niece, Kayanna Marie and one grandson, Joshua Dillon. Jim was survived by his wife, Anna and his children and grandchildren and his brother, David Calvert.
