Obituary of LILA STINECIPHER
Please share a memory of LILA to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lila Jo Stinecipher, first born to James Clarence Potter and Beulah Mae Arnold in Canton, North Carolina. She loved NC and always talked about returning to the mountains.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Joseph Glen Stinecipher, her parents and 3 brothers; Homer, Roy, and Troy.
Lila is survived by her sisters Eva Trask and Opal Stinecipher, her four children; David Stinecipher, Daniel Stinecipher, Charles Stinecipher and Linda James, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was a loving mother with leadership qualities and devoted her adult life to family, relatives, friends, church and community. She shared that love with all those around her, including foster children.
Lila was constantly learning new skills and loved to share that knowledge with anyone who wanted to learn. Genealogy was her passion but she also loved to garden and canned the things she grew.
Her love of Christ has never wavered. She honored that love for him daily with the unconditional love and service she performed. Her presence on this earth has, and will be felt by many for years to come.
