I grew up living next door to Lyn, her parents, and sister there in Sapulpa on Mike Street from about 1955 to 1973. My sister, Donna, and Lyn were the same age and very close friends growing up. I have fond memories of Lyn, she was always very kind, had such a sweet laugh, was fun to be around with, and I never heard her say anything negative about anyone. Everyone who got to know Lyn became a friend. My mom told me back in the 70's that she had become a nurse. I always thought that Lyn would excel in her work, helping people. Lyn, her parents, Virginia and Jim, and sister, LuAnn were the best of neighbors. I know Lyn is in heaven with Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior and spending lots of time visiting with her son, dad, relatives, and family. My prayers have been going up for all of you, may the Lord comfort you through this time.

My memories of Lyn are so sweet and funny. We lived next door to each for many years until we grew up and went our separate ways to college, marriage, etc. We spent our teenage years together having a lot of fun. We had many sleepovers and there was riding around town in her infamous "sunshine" car, a 1971 bright yellow Mustang. (A wonderful gift to Lyn from her mom.) There are many great stories about dragging Dewey in Lyn's sunshine car!
After many, many years,
I recently reconnected with Lyn through Facebook, and it was as if we had never been apart. She was the same sweet, caring, and funny girl who loved to laugh! We talked old times and laughed so hard about our memories. I was very excited to spend more time with her and wanted to visit her in person. But God had other plans for his angel. Although our recent reunion was cut short, I am forever grateful for the time God gave me to reconnect with Lyn.
Lyn was a strong Christian woman, and as I learned, she lived her faith through her work career. I realized that she spent her life taking care of others as a nurse and friend. She was always extremely giving and generous.
I rejoice in knowing Lyn is in heaven in the arms of Jesus, her Lord and Savior. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Lynster was a joy to be around and to know her was to love her. She was a wonderful nurse and friend. I will never forget the joy her smile brought to my life or the laughs we shared in the short time we worked together. She was a blessing in so many ways and to so many people!!

I worked with Lyn for 13 years and everyday with Nurse Lyn was joyful. Her laugh was contagious and when her feathers got ruffled those moments were absolutely hilarious and memorable. She was an amazing Nurse and a remarkable friend/sister. No words can ever describe the amount of loss our world will feel without her but to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and she is with her beautiful baby boy provides too, does provide me with some comfort. Love you Lyn to the moon and back. Kerri.....

Lyn was such a wonderful person. I worked with her for years at the Sapulpa Clinic. Lynster made the most mundane day a happy one. Her love for Hanky was insurmountable. I know she is in the presence of the Lord now and enjoying her baby boy's company. Lisa
