We bought our first home across the street from Fred and Louise. We already knew them from church and they gave us a warm welcome to the neighborhood. They’d sit outside on their sidewalk in the evenings and we had many visits. Our cat would always cross the street when they were sitting outside. When I’d apologize, they’d always say “Lady just wanted to come over to say hello.” They were the best neighbors a person could ask for. We missed them so much when we moved to the country. Still saw them at church but it wasn’t the same as seeing them daily. They were both very special to us. Fred shared several memories of his past but we didn’t realize the full extent of his amazing life until reading past news articles and his obituary. What a very special man. We were honored and blessed to have known Fred. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family at this time. So very hard saying goodbye to a loved one. May you be comforted in knowing that your loved one is now in his heavenly home. Rest In Peace Fred.❤️
