I am so sad to hear of the passing of my uncle Sherman. I will always remember him as the tall dark and handsome man he was in life .Sherman was strong, smart, with quick wit and a cool whistle I could never duplicate. I spent a lot of time as child with his children my cousins growing up and my heart breaks for them. My heart goes out to all of his brothers and sisters. The loss of their beloved brother and great man has surly left a painful void inside their hearts . I pray for his mother Maria my Mema. I pray that God holds her in this sad time and that the family can find love and support in one another. Rest In Peace Uncle Sherman I know Pepa was there at the gate waiting for his son to help him build his mansion next to Jesus I love you.
Love Always,
Elena.

My uncle Sherman bought me a blue dress that I wore upon leaving the hospital as a newborn- he thought of me even before I came into this world! He was a kind, polite, generous, and incredibly talented yet humble man. I love and miss you, Uncle Sherman!

Sherman had an auctioneer school in 1988 for aspiring auctioneers. It was licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Private Vocational Schools. Sherman also taught auctioneering classes at the now Rogers State University in Claremore.

One of my favorite memories was when Sherman asked me to write the tickets for an estate auction, and he asked is there was anything being sold I’d like to have. So, I received my 1st SLR camera that day. Although this event was more than 35 years ago, I still enjoy photography, thanks to my 1st “real camera”
He was kind, gentle, polite, hard worker, quiet but funny, extremely loyal and protective. He was my big brother, and assumed that role.
So many memories growing up, and of course, Catoosa Auction. The best and biggest auction ever.
I love you Sherman. You are no longer in physical or emotional pain. May you Rest In Peace
Janey

Sherman,
Heaven has called upon you today,
leaving so many words left to say.
But now it's too late, for your time has come.
Words unspoken - I am sure everybody has some.
Regrets and wishes are probably there too,
but lasting forever are memories of you.
I was there when you needed a place to stay,
just like you would be there for me night or day.
There have been many times that we disagreed,
but we were there for each other in time of need.
Now it's time for me to say Goodbye,
until we meet again in heaven to fly.
I love you big brother

One of my fav memories of Sherman is that a few years ago at Christmas Sherman told me he knew I liked Louis Vuitton, and beanie caps, so he went online to buy me a Louis Vuitton beanie. He said they were about $700, so I would have to make due with a Thunder beanie! He loved to watch the Thunder games! I love to wear this cap! Whenever I wore it, you could see how happy it made him!!!! Love ya Brother!

Sherman was the best brother ever! I am so thankful the last 9 years that I got to be such a big part of his life! We had our daily talks, he would tell me some things that he didnt like over and over. I know the reason for this now. He always had a grin! Sherman was very spiritual and said he will communicate with me any way he can after he dies, and he already has! He told me for about 6 months he knew his time was almost up. We had one last fun night at One Fire Casino the night before he passed away. I will always love and cherish all my great memories and so fortunate I got to be a huge part of his life!!!! Love you always Brother!!! Until we meet again...
