Gladys was a larger than life character. Her stories and life observations always kept me laughing. When I first went to work at the Mounds Post Office, she came in on her own time to help me. I always looked forward to seeing her at the Senior Citizens when my mother and I would visit to buy Memorial Day flowers. I’m glad she was part of my life. It’s a sadder world without her in it,
