All my best childhood memories with my dad are camping and learning how to ski at eufaula and surrounding lake. I can still hear him telling me it's okay to crash just get back up you'll get it right the next time. And when I finally was able to stand up on the skis by myself I never crashed he would have to make me let go of the rope or he would get me as close as I could to the bank so I can let go and just Coast into the shore side. And when I say camping I don't mean at a campsite mostly we would pack everything in this cabin boat of ours and drive to the other side of the lake where there was a cove and a beach we could just put our sleeping bags on and see what are the stars most of the time we woke up to four wheelers running around her heads but that was the best times everybody that knows my dad has been at the lake fishing skiing camping you name it that was the best side of him and I miss him a lot.
