Obituary of Richard Lorenz Pierce

Richard Lorenz Pierce, 62, of Sapulpa, stepped into heaven March 20, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He preferred to go by “Rick” and his mother always called him Ricky.
Rick was born August 25,1961 in Waterloo, Iowa to Thomas and Anna Pierce. He was 1 of 3 children. Rick attended and graduated high school in Tripoli, Iowa. He went to trade school for machinist, he wrestled and was one of the best pole vaulters.
Rick had a very free spirit, he spent his spare time fishing, hunting, and working. Other hobbies Rick was passionate about are being at the lake, camping, boating, photography, listening to music, singing, going to the casino, setting jug lines and having lots of kids. Living on a farm as a child, Rick played in the barn a lot, had a swing he would occupy himself with, made hay forts with his siblings, Timothy and Linda Pierce, enjoyed milking their cow Bessie, and riding horses.
Rick was a father to 6 kids and 10 grandchildren, a brother and son. He was very carefree and patient. He was loved and will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
He is survived by his family,
Siblings; Timothy Pierce and Linda Pierce.
Children; Justin Elliot, Thomas Pierce, Amanda Pierce, Richard Pierce, Anna Pierce and Nicole Pierce.
Grandchildren; Kairi, Phynes, Sara, Lauraligh, Kay’lee, Logan, Joey, Bryce, Lillie, and Kholter.
And a host of other relatives and friends.
He is perceded in death by his grandparents; Rosina and Lorenz Langfelder, and Esther and Harold Pierce. As well as his parents; Thomas and Anna Pierce.
Celebration of life will be Saturday, April 20th. From 11:00-2:00 at Okmulgee Lake in Okmulgee OK.
