I met Gary and Janice when I took the job as Creek County OSU Extension Educator. They were members of OHCE. He and Janice were extraordinarily gifted fair superintendents. I had to make sure that I had the perfect pencils for him to write with while taking in entries. He and Janice were both left handed and I found that a great quality. When he would come into the office I would say “Barry I mean Jerry, oh Gary”. He would refer to me as “Fancy Nancy”. Gary could write essays like no other. His use of words was astounding. I adored Gary and now he is with his “Domestic Goddess” as he referred to Janice.
