Kurtis Paul Keener was born on May 8, 1991 in Tulsa and died Monday, December 6, 2010. He was 19.
Kurtis Paul, as most of his family, and all of his friends knew him, was an avid musician, playing the guitar and drums, and he also loved to sing. He had a beautiful voice, almost as beautiful as his smile.
Kurtis had suffered through some difficult times in recent years, but he struggled through them, revealing an inner strength and perseverance that wasn't always obvious. He was funny, kind, sensitive, good natured, quiet (except when he wasn't), and good with kids; especially with his little brother, Max. Kurtis Paul was the guy who just wanted everybody to be happy. His absence in our lives will be felt.
